Rajesh Kumar Pakki grew up in the Baptist Churches of Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram districts but became an ardent follower of the LordJesus only after his encounter the Lord and Saviour during hiscollege days in the meetings of the Union of Evangelical Students of India. While working as a teacher under the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, he received the call and vision of God to bring the life transforming power of the Holy Bible in its fullness, to the Baptist Churches of Andhra Pradesh.
In obedience to God’s call, he resigned his job and proceededwith his family toBangalore, topursue his M.A.(Th.) from SAIACS. His wife Vijayaand he wererecognized and awarded the prestigious AQUILA & PRISCILLA award at SAIACS, for their commitment as a couple to the cause of the Gospel and the Kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
His walk of faith during this season, just depending on the Lord Jesus for all their needs, have caused him to have a deep and intimate knowledge of the trustworthiness of the God of the Bible, which alsois evidentfrom his clear and emphatic preaching and exposition of the Word.
His powerful expositionof God’s word and the life applications he brings through his teaching and preaching have been a great blessing. His constant endeavours to expand the scope and influence of the Church‘s wholistic ministry haveresulted in new outreach and Care Ministry initiatives impacting various strata of society.
Pastor Rajesh is ably supported by his wife Vijaya, who is a talented singerand a caring and gentle partner with him in all the ministries of the church. Vijayais a prayer warrior and an ardent intercessor for the needs of the congregation. Her contributions to the Children’s ministry and theTelugu Congregation have endeared her to children and adults alike. Mrs.VijayaPakkiis actively involved in the ministries of Women’s Christian Fellowship, sings in the Church Choir and actively participates in all the outreach ministries of the church.
Pastor Rajesh and Vijayahave two school going children - their daughter NissiArpithais in Class 9 and their son Nathan is in Class 6. Nissi,and Nathan even at this young age, have caught the samevision as their parents and try to serve in meaningful ways in the Sunday School ministry. Nissialso helps the IT team in managing the media for various presentations during programs.
