PastorSuresh Peter, is an ex Naval Commander of the Indian Navy. He hails from a non-Christian background and turned to the Lord in 1985, following a remarkable spiritual experience, wherein the Lord revealed Himself to him and completely transformed his life.

He has been involved in the ministry since 1993 and has preached the Gospel in several states from Maharashtra and Gujarat in the West to Orissa and West Bengal in the East and from Kashmir in the North to Tamil Nadu in the South. He has also had the privilege of ministering in England as well as Russia.

He started with the Youth Ministry but has since developed into a well-known Bible teacher. He has also preached at several Revival meetings and conventions all over the country. He has ministered in several Baptist, Methodist, AG, New Life and Pentecostal churches, besides in several independent churches as well.It has been his privilege and joy to teach the Bible to thousands and also to lead hundreds into salvation.

Pastor Suresh has come to Union Chapel, Visakhapatnam, after pastoring an independent church in Delhi.He desires to pour himself out in the Lord’s service, wherever the Lord takes him and in whichever capacity the Lord chooses to use him in.

His wife, Dr.Pramila Peter, PhD., is an excellent teacher of God’s word, a strong intercessor and a continuous support and encouragement to her husband as they serve the Lord together. Though highly qualified and having worked as the Principal of two different Schools and as Principal of a College, Pramilahas now chosen to serve the Lord full-time.Along with her husband, she is actively involved in the various ministries of the church.

Pastor Suresh and Pramilahave two children – Samuel and Shirin. Samuel is pursuing his final year of BE(ECE) in Delhi University, while Shirin is doing her first year MBBS at CMC Vellore. Both these gifted children turned to the Lord in January 2011 and now help in the ministry. Samuel plays the Piano andShirin helps with singing in the Worship Team. Both take an active part in the Youth ministry.
